The Dartford Warbler Handwoven Scarf
 
Handwoven with soft Falkland Islands merino wool, this pure wool scarf is made in the UK on a traditional loom by Neil at Just Wool Textiles and inspired by our song, Nestledown.
 
The wool along the length of the fabric is coloured using non-toxic dyes in a traditional process that gives a variety of tone.  The main body of the scarf is undyed & very soft, Falklands natural grey.
 
The shades are taken from the plumage of the bird that gives this scarf its name, and is exclusive to Ninebarrow. 
 
Just Wool Textiles is a small concern that is environmentally aware, careful about water use, and uses microwave for heat with a renewable energy provider. Pure wool & the cork label biodegrades naturally at the end of its long life.
 
Each one is gift-wrapped in tissue paper, with a sprig of dried lavender, and a care & information card.
